Daan holds a master’s degree in Political Sciences from Ghent University in 2006. In 2008, he graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB.) with a post-master’s degree in European Studies. During his professional career, he also obtained a postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management from the EHSAL Management School in Brussels.

Daan brings more than 10 years of experience in executive search. He started his career within a local Executive Search company. From 2019 until September 2023, Daan worked for Heidrick & Struggles, a global leading Executive Search company, and managed several searches for CEO and Board positions across several industries, but primarily focused on Consumer (e.g. FMCG & Retail), Industry and Financial Services.
