Christoph holds a master’s degree in Applied Economic Sciences (UFSIA, Antwerp University) and completed a postgraduate specialisation in Board & Director Effectiveness at the Guberna Institute for Directors. He has more than 25 years of experience in strategic human resources consultancy. He started his career at Amelior, continued at Schelstraete & Desmedt as Senior Executive Search Consultant, and has been a Partner at Altior since 2007.

Today, Christoph is particularly known for his strong focus on advising family-owned businesses. He supports families and shareholders in navigating succession challenges, shaping long-term governance structures, and identifying the right extra‑muros CEOs to lead their organisations into the next generation.

In addition, Christoph is specialised in the search for board members and regularly advises boards of directors on composition, effectiveness, and strategic leadership questions. With his HR expertise, entrepreneurial spirit and extensive network, he acts as a trusted, honest and long-term advisor to many clients who value his clear insights and discretion.
