Karolien combines a master's degree in Communication Sciences from KU Leuven and an executive master's degree in Management from Solvay Management School with over 15 years of experience in executive search.

She has worked for several years for the international executive search firm Korn Ferry and for Ebbinge & Company, where she built the talent database from scratch and advised and mentored top talent in various industries.

In 2017, she joined Altior as a Partner and started the Brussels office, securing the further expansion of Altior.

She has strong affinity for Private Equity, Family Offices, family owned businesses, and companies where entrepreneurship is key. She is fully committed to her clients and candidates and strives to serve and advise them at the highest level.
