Karolien combines  a Master's degree in Communication Sciences at the KUL and an Executive Master in Management at Solvay Management School with more than 15 years’  experience in executive search. She started her career at Ebbinge & Company where she built out the talent database from scratch, and focused on strategy consultants, M&A & Private Equity. After eight years, she moved to Korn Ferry where her main focus was on the Benelux consumer and retail market.

In 2016, she joined Altior Executive Search as Associate Partner. In 2017, she became Partner and Manager of the Brussels office.

Karolien is a Generalist Executive Search Professional with great affinity for family owned businesses, scale-ups and Private Equity owned companies where entrepreneurship is key.  She goes the extra mile for her clients and candidates and is committed to serving them at the highest level.
