Filip holds a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from KU Leuven.

He started his career in 1987 at Exxon Chemical in Plant Application Engineering. In 1997, he joined the start-up Pavilion Technologies where he became Department Manager Chemicals/Polymers and after 3 years, he was promoted to Director European Operations. In 2003, he joined IPCOS as Senior Consultant. Filip switched to the HR services sector in 2005 and moved on as Management Consultant since then. He joined Robert Walters as Consultant Interim Management until 2010. Then he moved to Pro XL where he became Managing Director, returning to Robert Walters in 2013 as Senior Consultant Engineering and Supply Chain. In 2016, he became Managing Consultant Industry EMEA at Korn Ferry and since 2020, Filip is active at Altior as Client Partner.

Filip has extensive experience in interim management, talent acquisition and he is familiar with leadership assessments. He has worked on numerous international senior-level and executive search assignments for multinationals, (semi-)public institutions and family owned (SME) companies, with a particular focus on the international renewable energy sector.
